Earth Circle Ceremonies

My teacher Hollis Littlecreek taught,

"At this time we are told to share our customs, our traditions, that other people might have the opportunity to have that knowledge, so they could bring into being new ways.  These new ways would not have labels on them, and so create a barrier for other people. We were advised that because we are all people, perhaps we should talk of the People's ceremonies, the People's Pipe Ceremony, the People's Drum Ceremony, the People's Sweat Lodge Ceremony."

Earth Circle Ceremonies and is my way of sharing this 'new way.'

It is a circle of loving intention that includes individuals spread across the country that come together at various times and places to share in ceremony their love of Earth, Spirit and humanity.

Currently the circle has grown to include:

• annual earth circle wilderness quest,
• sacred womens empowerment day
• women's healing quest,
• equinox and solstice healing workshop and sacred pipe ceremonies,
• women's sweat lodge ceremonies,
• community sweat lodge ceremony,
• an open invitation to requests for sacred prayer pipe ceremony,
• and sacred pipe awakenings.

In  times when we all lived close together with each other and the land, ceremony was generously supported by providing directly for the needs of the elders with the gifts of the earth.  The medium of money is how we in our culture provide for those same needs.  Therefore I suggest a contribution amount for each of the ceremonies  and ceremonial workshops I offer. 

It is my heart felt intention that the amount represent a fair exchange for my effort.  Although in reality there is no way to put 'a price' on ceremony. 

The suggested contribution is not meant to turn anyone away.  If you choose not to come because you think you 'lack the means' please reconsider, because I do not share that belief nor do I expect the same contribution from everyone. 

I know that everyone can afford to contribute in the way that is perfect for them.  I am open to whatever that is.  I also know that each person receives back what they give with a generous heart. That is true for both of us.  So let's not let "money beliefs' get between us.
