Women doing the Healing Quest are encouraged to arrive Friday evening, Sept 19th and participate in a women's circle Friday evening and Saturday morning.
The objective of the women's healing quest is not only to heal the personal feminine, but also to honor, heal and empower the collective feminine and the Earth Mother.
In a women's healing quest the questing woman honors the nourishing quality of the feminine by eating in a sacred manner and communes with the deep womb of the Divine Mother by staying awake during the night time and sleeping during the day.
She is deeply conscious and grateful for the gift of nourishment provided
by our plant and animals elders. Sitting in a sacred manner, holding the resonance of gratitude and love in her heart, she eats the amount of food, that is
of benefit to the physical body. She intentionally abstains from the emotional
bodies food indulgences. Some women find this kind of questing more challenging that the 'warriors' quest with its complete abstinence from food and water.
The intention in eating in this manner is to connect with the nourishing prosperity power of the Divine Feminine and amplify it within us with our conscious intention, loving heart and presence.
To amplify our receptivity to the Great Womb of the Mother,
we stay up during the night and sleep during the day.
In this way we wake to the dreamtime - the Mothers deep womb of potentiality.
This way of questing is equally challenging and pushes out
of our 'comfort' zone into receiving guidance, insight and
waking dreams that Spirit would give us, in a way that is
supportive, empowering of the Feminine.
In this way we learn to support and empower the Feminine,
the Life Source of prosperity in ourselves, for our children and grandchildren
and for the Earth Mother herself.
I am particularly grateful to the women who have explored this type of questing during previous annual quests. It feels like the next step the Land is calling us to do, is to set aside time for women to hold this intention along the entire ridge with the power of the spirits there, to send this intention for empowering the Divine Feminine deep into Mother Planet and out into the Human Family.
