Below you will find my most favorite of books.  Many other books have guided me on my way, inspired me and deepened my understanding.  These are the ones that touched the core of my being in the most memorable way.   The cover a breadth of subjects.

This extremely articulate story of Abram's experiences among shaman's of the Far East calls into awareness the real language of the Earth and how our human focus on words disconnects from the more primordial language of life on Planet Earth and the shift into connection that occurs as we awaken to the Earth's own language.

This book is a penetrating study of the patterns space as it relates to human life or how life, work and social interaction are shaped and influenced by the space we create around us.  From urban, industrial, streets, parking lots to cottages, kitchens, bedrooms to gardens and groves.  Christopher insights are an amazing blend of art, architectural, environmental and social dynamics.  A real resource for anyone who takes an interest in the space in which they live, from personal to public.

ISBN: 0963572105 There are many very good books on connected breathing for emotional clearing and personal growth.  This is one of the clearest and directly articulated books.  A simple, easy read that presents a difficult to describe process.  Unfortunately to my knowledge it is only available directly from the author.

Dream of the Earth is one of the true manifestos regarding our historic and cultural disconnect from the Earth.  A penetrating read.

 

Emoto, Masaru (1999), Messages From Water.

This a revelatory piece of Science.  The old adage a picture is worth a thousand words was never more powerfully applied than it is in this study of the effect of thought on the shape of water crystals.  Emoto's photographs say it all.  Use this link to get a glimpse.

Valerie Hunt is world renown for her decades of scientific research into the nature of the energy body.  This is her book for the 'lay public.'  It ground the new age use of the word 'energy' in hard science.

This is a book of cases of Katie doing the work with folks.  Amazing.

This is a profound book by one of the worlds true elders.   Beautiful Painted Arrow walks his talk as an indigenous elder all the way into the 21st century, free of dogma, following the guidance of Spirit NOW. Ceremonies of the Living Spirit is as gentle as it is profound, as inspiring as it is challenging.

The inspiring words of an American Woman who ascended her body into light in June of 1952.  Her motto is "Love, praise, and gratitude!"

Storm, Hyemeyohsts (1997), Lightningbolt.
Ballantine Book.

Hyemeyohsts Storm is more well known for his book, Seven Arrows.  This book is the story of his experience with his teacher Eschemah, a zero chief.  In it Storm shares some of the amazing zero chief teachings - the esoteric wisdom of this continent, including the Circle of Law - the roots of our own government.  It is a life time study and reference .

Many books are written about the power of the present.  The Power of Now is written FROM the present.  A most read at least once.

I have loved all of Tompkins book, starting with the Secret Life of Plants back in the early seventies, then also with Christopher Bird - Secrets of the Soil.  This book is as thorough and fascinating as he delves into amazing encounters and research into the world of nature.
