Origin Story & Medicine Teachings

The Fall Womens Empowerment Sweat Lodges is:

Saturday,   October 17th

Beginning at 10 AM until sundown or later.

On this special day of Feminine Empowerment for Women:

• We will sit together in circle in under the powerful peaceful feminine energy of a circle of large Pine Trees.
• We will experience the love of our Earth Mother.
• We will revel in the ancient teachings that honor the origins of the Divine Feminine, the source of Life and the creativity that is inherent to Feminine Power.
• We will claim these truths of our Feminine Power and clarify our intention and ability to act from Divine Feminine within us in our daily lives NOW.
• We will sit together in the presence of Sacred Fire and the Sacred intimacy and transformative power of Purification Lodge Ceremony.
• We will give thanks through Sacred Prayer Pipe Ceremony.

We will start at 10 AM, with a sacred prayer pipe and a teaching circle including meditations on the Divine Feminine from creation centered traditions and their origin stories, including the ancient 20– count teachings and we will share how to use of the Plant Beings Gift, Essential Oils. We will honor our insights on how to apply this wisdom in our lives for the benefit of the family life. How to norish the Divine Feminie within our Selves and throughou the Circle of Life for the healing and empowerment of the Earth Mother.

This circle will be followed by a light soup & salad lunch.

Afterward we will “let go of time’ and begin the sweat lodge ceremony, building the fire, covering the lodge, meditating quietly in the presence of mother earth, the family of life and grandfather fire, preparing ourselves inwardly to enter the lodge as the grandmother stones are heated.  When they are ready, we let go to enter the sacred sweat lodge and the four ’rounds’ of ceremony. Upon being ’born’ back into this world we will have a the thanksgiving potluck feast, giving thanks for the gifts of the lodge,completing our circle possibly near or after sunset.

Everyone is welcome to camp on the land, spending the night close to Grandmother Earth.(There is also limited indoor space, please call ahead if you wish to be indoors. a list of B&Bs is available on request.)

I encourage you to honor this day in your life highly, and be aware that your contribution is an expression of the value you put on it and the value you will derive from it. When we give generously from our heart we send a powerful message to the Intangible realm, initiating a powerful flow of prosperity in every way.

Contributions are usually monetary, because money is the most fluid medium of exchange for our creative energies and resources. Your offering will honor and support me for my time, effort, commitment and many years of connection with the land, spirit and ceremonies, support the cost of equipment, supplies, wood etc. and honor and support Tania for her time, guidance & effort as fire tender and door keeper.

The suggested amount is $120, and please check in with your own guidance. If you are guided to share your creative energies and resource in another form, a non-monetary form. Please trust and honor your guidance and check in with me to find the working alignment. These ceremonies are also part of a larger year long program of Womens Empowerment that is available.

Reminder of things to bring:

• special plant based food for the potluck.
• towel to 'wear' into the lodge and sit on.
• outer clothing to wear and be comfortable outdoors in cool fall weather.
• a pad or camp or beach chair for sitting outside in circle.
• remaining contribution ($70).
• camping gear for spending the night on the land, if you plan to. (There is also limited indoor space, please call ahead if you wish to be indoors. A list of B & Bs is also available on request.
